Wildlife Adventure Camp

Animals, games, crafts and treats come together for summer time fun in this unforgettable program, specially designed for ages 4 to 7. This 2 1/2 hour program is offered Mondays and Tuesdays during the summer.

Monday sessions are for children 4 to 5 years old
Tuesday sessions are for children 6 to 7 years old.

All sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Members: $10.00/child
Non-members: $12.00/child

Don’t be fooled!  Just because it has a beak, wings, and lays eggs doesn’t necessarily make it a bird.  Campers at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure will examine birds from beak to tail as we decide who’s real and who’s an imposter.

Wildlife Explorer Camp

Back by popular demand, Wildlife Explorer Camp is a full-day of animal interactions, behind the scenes explorations and all around wild times! Each Thursday throughout the summer, eight to 10 year olds can explore animal movements, animal enclosures and much more through loads of hands-on activities. The Overlook Restaurant will provide each camper with lunch, and participants may enroll in as few or as many sessions as they want.

All sessions are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Members: $22.50/child per session
Non-members: $25.00/child per session

There’s no doubt about it, from tadpole to toad, these slimy creatures are curiously interesting.  Join Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure for a day playing with slime, hopping around and seeing some of the worlds biggest, smallest and deadliest frogs.

Ring in 4th of July with Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure and all the social party animals living at the zoo.  Campers will put their skills to use as we plan a 4th of July bash for the apes and one for ourselves!  Party favors, decorations, and treats are only a few of the supplies we’ll use to celebrate the holiday.

To Tame or Not to Tame

Junior Zookeeper (JZK)

Youth 11 to 14 years of age are invited to join Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure for a unique opportunity to follow in the footsteps of professional zookeepers.  Participants will engage in actual zookeeper chores that they perform everyday to keep the animal residents healthy.  They will work in the Reptile Building and Kid’s Country along with many other behind the scenes areas at Rolling Hills. 

This year, the activities have been retooled to bring new opportunities into a popular, long-standing program.  Don’t hesitate to register for this once-in-a-lifetime experience that will not only add excitement to any kid’s summer but can help prepare them to volunteer at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure.

The JZK program starts promptly at
8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m. each day.

Chili's Slumber Safaris
Join us at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure for a one-of-a-kind summer adventure.  Kids, 8-12 years old, can leave their parents at home for the night as we start the evening off with dinner from Chili’s Grill & Bar, play games, take a flashlight tour of the museum, walk the zoo at night, fall asleep to a movie and popcorn, eat breakfast, and take a morning tram ride through the zoo.  However, there is only one chance to spend the night this year, so don’t miss out!

All sessions are from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Members: $31.50 Non-members: $35.00

Boys, this weekend you can leave your sisters at home along with your parents and join the zoo for the best summer adventure in town.  Staying up late is just the half of it.  We’ll make camo masks to help us play our nighttime games before we travel the museum and zoo in the dark.  Gather all your friends and schedule your car ride out to the zoo for an awesome time!
